Council’s annual Wall of Achievement Awards provide an opportunity for outstanding local residents in the categories of Sport, Business, Community Services, Culture & Environment, Civic, Carer and Penrith Appreciation Award to be publicly acknowledged and given the due recognition they deserve.

Each year, as Council considers the nominations for the Wall of Achievement, we become aware of the amazing work being done every day by people who seek no particular recognition, but who give so much of their time to help others.

These Awards commenced in 1997 and since then 242 individuals have been recognised for the significant contributions they have made to the community of Penrith.

Framed photographs of Penrith City's finest citizens will be placed on display at Penrith Central Library and St Marys Business Centre on the 2009 Wall of Achievement for a period of 12 months.
